Cairo – Mubasher: Sixth of October for Development and Investment (SODIC) on Wednesday posted a 9.5% year-on-year increase in consolidated profits for the first half of 2018.

The company has generated EGP 374.09 million in profits at the end of June, compared to EGP 341.5 million in H1-17, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Total revenues hit EGP 1.05 billion in the six-month period ended June, versus EGP 1.17 billion in the prior-year period.

Meanwhile, standalone profits fell to EGP 106.7 million in the January-June period, from EGP 147.02 million in H1-17.

It is worth noting that SODIC achieved EGP 212.11 million in consolidated profits for Q1-18, slightly above EGP 211.9 million in Q1-17, including minority shareholders’.
